Great location to end your Shiminami Kaido cycle and it is next to the station
Location Free drinks in the evening Helpful staff Was able to sleep even if the hotel is next to the train station Nice view
To improve: - I did get dinner recommendations however it could be improved by showing a picture of the street and the entrance of the restaurant so tourists know where it is. (In hindsight, what I could've done was to ask the hotel to make a restaurant reservation)

A nice modern hotel with rather small rooms.
The hotel is very well located perhaps 100m from the JR Station. The hotel is quite new and modern with a very nice lounge for breakfast. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. A “cocktail hour” was offered in the evening but unfortunately, we weren’t able to check it out since our train was delayed and we were anxious to find a place to eat supper.
We were quite surprised that the room was so small, the smallest we’ve had in our 3 weeks in Japan. That is particularly surprising since Imabari is not a large city and thus we would have thought that real estate prices would not be that high. The small room made it difficult to place our two suitcases and prepare for our cycling trip the next day.
